Flexys Solutions Certified to Information Security ‘Gold Standard’ ISO 27001
Flexys Solutions has been certified to the internationally recognised standard ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems by the business improvement company, BSI.
ISO 27001 is a framework that helps organisations manage and protect their information assets so that they remain safe and secure. Flexys achieved certification after BSI conducted a comprehensive audit process that assessed the awareness of and commitment to information security across the business.
Flexys Chief Information Security Officer, Dr David Scholefield, explains
“ISO 27001 is considered to be the gold standard in information security and reflects best practice across the entire organisation, including people, processes and culture. By achieving certification to ISO 27001, Flexys has demonstrated that we are a business that follows best practice in information security.”
BSI’s Global Head Information Security and Business Continuity, Willy Fabritius, comments: “It has become increasingly challenging for organisations to protect the information that they gather, store, access and use due to the growing volume they have to manage. This is why it’s a huge achievement for Flexys to have been certified against this standard as it shows the organisation’s proactive approach to managing information security and building resilience for the future.“
Flexys CEO, Jon Hickman, said “I want to thank our CISO, David Scholefield and the entire Flexys team for their dedication to achieving the highest standards of information security. In a sensitive environment like debt management, our clients must be sure their data, and their customers’ data, is safe and protected at all times. Flexys can now display the world-renowned BSI Kitemark to demonstrate our commitment to company-wide information security.”
