Debt collection software specialist Flexys Solutions hosted the innovative Energy Forum at Future Space on Wednesday. Welcoming thought leaders from across the energy industry, Flexys CEO Jon Hickman said the discussions included an open and collaborative look at the future of debt collection across the sector and a valuable benchmarking exercise to inform and compare against best practice in credit and collections. Flexys also recorded an episode of the Refreshing Collections podcast with participants from Ovo Energy, Welsh Water and Bristol Energy.
Ian Parry, Director of Retail at Bristol Energy and an advocate for transformation across the utility sector, convenes the Energy Forum quarterly, bringing together like-minded colleagues to share successes and debate the pressing issues of the day. Ian said “It’s vital that energy professionals can come together in a supportive environment to share their experiences for the benefit of the consumer and the whole industry. When it comes to debt collection, a sensitive and complex part of operations, the opportunity to hear about good practice and innovation is invaluable. Helping customers who struggle to decide between heating their homes and feeding their families is why Bristol Energy was created so it is great to get to learn from others, keeping this at the heart of what we do”
Jon Hickman commented, “We were pleased to welcome the Energy Forum to Future Space and hear first hand how debt collection needs to move forward in the energy industry. Flexys has a collaborative ethic that informs everything we do and we value these interactions very highly.”
