Flexys Hosts Collections Professionals at Energy Forum Roundtable
This October, Flexys is once again hosting the Energy Forum roundtable, chaired by Ian Parry, at their offices in Bristol. The forum meets quarterly to provide a supportive environment for utility professionals to share their professional experience and discuss issues such as billing, debt collection, customer experience and helping vulnerable customers.
The day’s events will focus on analysing the results of a benchmarking exercise to define and share best practice across the water and energy sectors. Attendees will be engaged in a frank and confidential discussion about these issues, and in particular, how to ensure regulations and ethical practice guidelines are met.
Ian Parry, commented, “The Energy Forum is all about sharing practical advice and best practice so that every attendee gets to take away something to try. As an industry, we need to work together more to help our customers. It is great to see so many people attend and getting involved in lively debates. The cross-section of large, medium and small companies means we get hugely diverse points of view.”
In April 2019, Flexys hosted the preceding Energy Forum event attended by a range of household names including Green Star Energy, EDF, OVO Energy, First Utility (now Shell Energy) and Bristol Energy. They were joined by colleagues from Transunion and Call Credit.
Flexys CEO, Jon Hickman, said, ‘As a business with fresh thinking and collaboration at its heart, Flexys is pleased to be hosting the latest Energy Forum event and to help facilitate this kind of innovative discussion between water and energy professionals. As always, we look forward to hearing first-hand from people in this sector with some very specific regulatory and customer care obligations. We hope they enjoy their day here at Futurespace.”
